Recognize the global scope of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and its status as federal and public health priority

Evaluate the state of new drug development in context of the growing AMR crisis

Discuss diverse yet intersecting career paths devoted to AMR (hospital stewardship/epidemiology, healthcare leadership,
public health and policy, data science, and clinical research)

Understand federal legislation accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic focused on AMR, stewardship, infection
prevention, and public health
Mentor/Mentee Workshop:

Define elements of successful professional relationships (mentor/mentee, sponsor, coach, etc.)

Understand how relationships grow and change overtime in response to evolving needs

Apply strategies to optimize your current professional relationships and develop new ones
